CW: discussion of cancer, medical procedures

We watched the first episode of Live and let Dai on TV last night.

It’s presented by comedian Dai Henwood and tells his experience with stage 4 bowel cancer (essentially untreatable) and most recent chemotherapy treatment for it.

It was as good as I hoped it would be. He is very honest without being maudlin. While it’s true that “everyone’s cancer journey is different” there are plenty of similarities that patients and care givers can recognise, regardless of the type of cancer.
